Intensive course on Bayesian methods By Stefano Andreon
The course is free and open to anyone who is interested to become familiar with Bayesian methods applied to particle physics or astrophysics and own the appropriate tools to use them. ICCUB Seminar. Luis A. Martínez: “Imprints of the spiral arms (Radial Migration) on the Metallicity Distribution Function”
Recent observations show that the Milky Way's metallicity distribution function (MDF) changes its shape as a function of radius. This new evidence of radial migration within the stellar disc sets additional constraints on Galactic models.
